My hope for this week is that we can make at least a small difference in the relief and recovery effort for those in Haiti. Our auctions will all benefit the American Red Cross with %100 of the proceeds going to them.

If you don't find anything in our auctions, please check the store as well. We'll have additional deals and discounts going on and for each item you purchase through the store this week and put "Haiti" in the note of your payment, I'll be donating $1 to another organization in Haiti that is is doing important work, the Hope for Little Angels of Haiti orphanage.

Technical difficulties! Don't give up!

Happy 8pizza4haiti Kick-off Day! Unfortunately we are experiencing technical difficulties at this point and I just wanted to let you know that if you're looking for auctions and are not seeing them that I know about it. Rest assured I am waiting on hold with all the necessary tech support people in order to resolve the issue as soon as possible and get the the first wave of auctions launched as quickly as we can. Today we received our very first box of donations for the 8pizza4haiti Auction Event! Some of what will be auctioned next week? Here are a few highlights of what came in today:

Finally, today I want to announce an upcoming week-long event called 8pizza4haiti! 8pizza has some personal ties to this devastated country, and will be holding a special series of auctions benefit ting relief & recovery in the aftermath of the recent Haitian earthquake. Starting Monday, February 8th, we'll have several auctions beginning each day through Friday the 12th! We'll have a variety of items, all with rock bottom starting prices and amazing shipping discounts! A portion of each auction will benefit one of the variety of charities providing Haitian relief through eBay's Giving Works program. Stay tuned for more details!
